ROOSEVELT
Roosevelt (1929), by De Jarnette, a grandson of Jubilee de Jarnette, out of Alice Dean, she by Observation, a Standardbred, and with tail-female tracing to the Thoroughbreds Mambrino and Messenger, and to a mare said to be a granddaughter of Figure. Bred by the U.S. government Range Livestock Experiment Station in Montana, this horse in the writer’s opinion is the most beautiful and symmetrical of all the horses shown here.
