WINTERSET

Winterset (1922) by Captain Jack, who traces repeatedly to Standardbred and Black Hawk. He is out of Judea, similarly bred. Heavy amounts of Standardbred and/or Thoroughbred are more commonly found in the Western working group. A very beautiful horse inbred to almost the maximum tolerable amount, he was put to similarly bred mares and has thus left few descendants.
