THIS MONTH’S EXPERT

Jennifer Williams, PhD, is the founder and president of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society in College Station, Texas, and author of the book How to Start and Run a Rescue. Williams received her Bachelor of Science in psychology and minor in equine science from Truman State University, formerly known as Northeast Missouri State University. Later Williams earned her master’s and doctorate in animal science from Texas A&M, where she focused her studies on equine behavior, learning and welfare.
