Salt talk

I would add a comment on “Pass the Salt” (Hands On, EQUUS 478). Loose minerals and salts may be an easier way for horses to get what they need. I’ve found the blocks might keep them busy, but it takes more work for them to get enough of what they need, and it can get wasted if it’s placed outside in the weather. Carol Delisi Sheridan, Montana
