Isinglass and Teddy are closely related to Phalaris. Teddy, a reliably profitable choice for mid-20th century Thoroughbred breeders, displays the heavy muscling and rounded topline typical of the Bend Or family. The tall and lathy Isinglass, on the other hand, despite being intensely inbred to Birdcatcher and Touchstone, takes after his tail-female ancestors of the Herod bloodline. While Phalaris is somewhat soft-backed, long-bodied and short on the leg, most champions of his bloodline are more correctly conformed. Mr. Prospector in particular stands on substantial, correctly-articulated legs and is overall a very harmonious individual.
