THIS MONTH’S EXPERT

Carey A. Williams, PhD, is an equine extension specialist and associate director of outreach for the Equine Science Center at Rutgers University. Williams earned her doctorate and master’s degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in animal and poultry sciences with a specialty in equine nutrition. She is a member of several national and international scientific organizations, including the Equine Science Society and the American Society of Animal Science, where she has won several awards for her work.
