CROSS TIE MUFFLER

I sliced two openings on opposites sides of a tennis ball and slipped it over the end of each cross tie, leaving the buckle poking out. This ended the annoying “clang” each time I unhooked and dropped a tie because the tennis ball hits the wall instead of the buckle. —Hayley Curtis, Clovis, California
