Photographs and videos can add more power to contracts and enhance the protections they provide. For example, a lease contract can include the photograph of the horse at the beginning of the agreement so there aren’t any questions about whether the person is managing the horse properly. Often photos or video documentation are made part of an agreement to reduce the amount of interpretation required if issues arise. Include photographs and videos so the level or condition of the horse is clear and make sure this documentation is referenced correctly in the contract. With proper visual documentation, there is less chance that issues will need to be decided by a mediator or through a lawsuit.
