The more we learn about the horse-human relationship, the more we understand how much people’s behavior and mental attitude affect our horses. When you are upset by barn drama, your horse knows it and is likely to be more nervous and agitated as a result. It’s not that people have to be happy all the time at the barn, but issues need to be addressed rather than allowed to fester because that ultimately will work against the welfare of the horses at the barn.
