Karyn L. Bischoff, DVM, is

Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree, Bischoff received her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois, where she also earned a Master’s degree in veterinary pathology. She is also an American Board of Veterinary Toxicology Diplomate.

Gulsah Kaya Karasu, DVM, received her veterinary degree from the University of Istanbul, Turkey, after working as an intern at University of Liverpool Equine Hospital. She has pursued her doctorate degree in Animal Nutrition and Nutritiona­l Disease in Vienna Veterinary University in Austria. Currently, Kaya Karasu teaches equine nutrition and conducts research at the Van Hall Larenstein University in the Netherland­s, and advises horse owners in several countries on feeding and nutrition-related questions through her company, AGG Equine Nutrition Consulting.

Michaela Kristula, DVM, MS, is associate professor of Medicine in Field Service at the University of Pennsylvan­ia, School of Veterinary Medicine in Kennett Square, Pennsylvan­ia. She earned her veterinary degree at the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984 and received her Master’s Degree in Comparativ­e Medical Sciences from the University of Pennsylvan­ia in 1990.
