Back in Time
On a warm day in October, I drove past the covered bridge in Historic Poole Forge park in Narvon, Pennsylvania. This steam engine was chugging over the bridge. Built in 1859, this is a Burr Truss-style covered bridge. Its design is standard for Pennsylvania covered bridges. Still in use today, it serves as a sturdy overpass for the Conestoga River. I was thrilled to take this nostalgic photo.
