The Pulsar Helion is a class-lead­ing ther­mal op­tic that pro­vides eight color pal­ettes and in­cred­i­ble res­o­lu­tion thanks to 640x480 pixel sen­sor res­o­lu­tion. The XP38 comes with a 38mm ob­jec­tive fo­cus and 1.9-15.2 zoom. The larger XP50 has a 50mm ob­jec­tive fo­cus and 2.5-20x zoom ca­pa­bil­i­ties, and both mod­els of­fer in­ter­change­able lenses.

The vis­i­ble range on the XP38 is up to 1,350 me­ters (or roughly 1,500 yards), and the XP50 al­lows you to see ob­jects up to 1,800 me­ters/2,000 yards.

There are more than a half-dozen dif­fer­ent color pal­ette op­tions, and the con­trols are sim­ple to op­er­ate even in the field in to­tal dark­ness.
