Sweet sachets

“We’re hosting Mother’s Day brunch with my family this year,” says Patty Bontekoe, FIRST deputy editor. “My daughter suggested we craft gifts for all the moms, so we decided to make scented sachets. It was the perfect way to put the extra fabric in my craft closet to use. We just snipped two 3" heart shapes from patterned fabric and placed dried lavender between them. Then I stitched the hearts closed and hot-glued ribbon to the top. The adorable tokens are perfect for a linen closet or drawer!”
