“When I’m on-set at General Hospital, I always have raw almonds, hard-boiled eggs, orange slices and things like that to snack on in my dressing room,” says Kristina of how she powers through busy days. “I have to nibble on food and those are my go-to snacks. They keep my stomach from growling and keep me focused so I can get through whatever we’re doing.” Why that’s smart: Research in the Internatio­nal Journal of Obesity found snacking on proteinric­h bites like nuts and eggs helped dieters lose 62 percent more weight that those who favored carb-rich fare.
