Even easier! Use premade dough

These buns are a snap to put together. But some days we just don’t have hours to wait for dough to rise, so our test kitchen director found a savvy shortcut:

Immaculate Baking Company Organic Crescent Rolls ($6 for 8 oz., supermarke­ts). They form a rich, buttery base that beautifull­y complement­s our tangy cranberry filling. To do: Unroll dough and press the perforated edges together to form a large rectangle, then spread with cranberry mixture, roll up and cut as recipe directs. Place in muffin wells and bake at 375°F for 12 minutes.
