Clever trick to ensure your mailbox is visible in the dark
“We live on a winding road without much light, and every winter our mailbox gets hit by at least one driver trying to navigate in the dark. When I went to the homeimprovement store to buy a new mailbox, the salesman recommended that I use a few strips of Velcro to attach an old CD to the side of the mailbox facing oncoming traffic to keep my mailbox safe. Because headlights are reflected off the shiny disc, drivers know to steer clear. I tried it, and so far it has worked like a charm!”
