Broccoli revs the liver

First For Women - - Nutrition -

Plant compounds in broccoli called glucosinolates help the liver convert pollutants, excess hormones and other harmful substances into water-soluble molecules that can be eliminated quickly. The effect is so powerful that scientists in Spain found that eating 4 cups of broccoli weekly increased energy by 33 percent for 80 percent of women in as little as a week.
