Vi­ta­min B-6 makes dreams eas­ier to re­call

That’s the word from the Univer­sity of Ade­laide in Aus­tralia. In a dou­ble-blind, place­bo­con­trolled trial, sub­jects who sup­ple­mented with 240 mg. of vi­ta­min B-6 be­fore bed re­ported hav­ing more vivid dreams and showed sig­nif­i­cant im­prove­ments in their abil­ity to re­mem­ber the con­tent of their dreams. Re­searchers pos­tu­late that the vi­ta­min in­creases brain ac­tiv­ity dur­ing REM sleep, help­ing lock in mem­o­ries and mak­ing them eas­ier to ac­cess in the morn­ing.
