But ac­cord­ing to Bri­tish re­searchers, deeply stretch­ing your calf mus­cles for 30 sec­onds can in­crease flex­i­bil­ity for 90 min­utes—and sig­nal your brain to re­lease en­dor­phins. To do: Rest the pads of your feet on a step and let your heels drop or pull your toes to­ward you while sit­ting on the floor.
