Super smoothie
“I make a superfood smoothie just about every day,” says Sela. “I toss in whatever non-bitter vegetables I have in my fridge—kale, cauliflower, spinach, celery or whatever else I might have on hand. I’ll also use watercress, cilantro, wild blueberries and açai powder or pomegranate powder and ice. Starting my day like that makes me feel good because I know if I get busy and miss a meal, I’ve gotten all my greens. I always feel great when I have that shake. It’s a terrific way to eat a little better and stay healthy— especially in the winter.”
