Warm Bacon-Kissed Brussels Sprouts Slaw

To make quick work of slicing the sprouts, our test kitchen used a food processor’s slicing attachment
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 Tbs. olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 (9 oz.) pkgs. Brussels sprouts,
trimmed, halved and sliced
2 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
1 In skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp; drain. Add enough oil to bacon drippings to equal 3 Tbs. Add onion; cook until tender, 4 min., stirring. Add sprouts; cook until tender, 3–5 min., stirring. Stir in vinegar, 3⁄4 tsp. salt and 1⁄4 tsp. pepper. Top with bacon and apple slices, if desired.
