Gorgeous chocolate shards in a flash!
We garnished our stunning chocolate cake with thin chocolate candy shards for a bakeshop-beautiful finish—and happily, they couldn’t be easier to make. TO DO: Line a 15"x10" rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. In microwave-safe bowl, microwave 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips in 15-second intervals until melted, stirring. With offset spatula, evenly spread melted chocolate over paper, leaving 1⁄ 2" border. Refrigerate 1 hr. or until firm. Break into large pieces. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.
