This eating plan reduces cramps for most exercisers

-

A diet low in FODMAPs ( fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols)—poorly digested sugars that ferment in the gut and cause cramping—has been shown to ease symptoms for folks with IBS. Now researchers at Anglia Ruskin University in England reveal that cutting high-FODMAP foods such as legumes, grains, dairy and high-fructose fruit reduced cramps and bloat in 69% of exercisers.
