Avocado-Cucumber Sandwiches

1 lemon
2 Tbs. olive oil
4 cups torn Boston lettuce (4 oz.)
2 mini cucumbers, diced
1 cup basil leaves, torn
1 scallion, chopped
2 Tbs. drained diced pimento, patted dry
2 avocados, pitted, peeled and sliced
8 slices whole-wheat bread, toasted
