Apple-Dijon Glazed Chicken

A fragrant sweet ’n’ savory glaze made in less than five minutes adds amazing flavor to our juicy roast chicken without any fuss

2 Tbs. butter, melted

1⁄4 cup packed brown sugar 1⁄4 cup apple cider

1⁄4 cup Dijon mustard

2 tsp. chopped fresh sage 2 tsp. chopped fresh thyme 1 (6–7 lb.) chicken

2 Tbs. oil

1 Heat oven to 350°F. In small pot, melt butter over low heat; stir in sugar until blended. Remove from heat; stir in apple cider, Dijon mustard, sage and thyme.

2 Rub chicken with oil; sprinkle with 1⁄2 tsp. salt and 1⁄4 tsp. pepper. If desired, truss chicken. Place in roasting pan. Roast 1 hr. Brush with half of cider mixture. Roast until juices run
