On a side table: A bundled berry accent
“Red-berried wintergreen plants wrapped in cozy tartan fabric bring a warm and welcoming touch to any side table,” says Chapman. To make each, snip a piece of plaid or flannel fabric to fit around a wintergreen plant’s plastic pot, plus 1 inch, then attach the two fabric edges together with hot glue, forming a tube. Slip the tube around the plant’s plastic pot. To finish, wrap thin red ribbon around the pot several times and tie into a bow. Give plant part sun to full shade and keep soil fairly moist.
