To slim a double chin

-

Cold weather slows the lymphatic system, allowing excess water and toxins to settle in and “swell” the neck and chin area, resulting in what looks like a double chin.

A-list secret to stunning: “I got turned on to the jade roller, and I love it,” Vanessa Williams has said. “I use it each morning, rolling it up my chin and cheeks, over my forehead and under my eyes. It really does stimulate my skin, remove puffiness and make me feel so refreshed!” (Try: Revlon Jade Stone Facial Roller, CVS.com.) How it works: The roller’s massage-like movements encourage the drainage of lymph nodes located in the neck and near the ears, helping rid the body of built-up fluids and toxins that accumulate near the chin, says Dr. Jaliman. Plus, cold-to-the-touch and antiinflammatory jade further reduces swelling.

To do: Using a roller, start at the base of the neck and move in upward motions toward the chin for 1 minute. Then roll from the center of the chin along both sides of the jaw for another minute. Repeat daily for a tauterlooking jawline within three weeks.
