“I give 110% in every moment of the day because I want to soak in every bit of life,” Dr. Jen says with a smile. “But I’ve learned I need to give myself permission to turn off at the end of the day to prioritize sleep, which is such an important pillar of health at every age. My day stops at 9 pm: There’s no answering ‘just one more’ email or doing one more task. And the world won’t end if there are dishes in the sink! My priority is my health because without it, I can’t do what I need to do for my kids or patients.”
