No more litter box mess!

-

Stepping on scattered bits of litter is one sensation you could definitely do without. Top-entry litter boxes help prevent litter mess (and odor), but they’re pricey! Thankfully, it’s easy to make your own for less. Simply grab a 20-gallon plastic storage box with a lid. Using a large paper plate (at least 10" in diameter) as a template, draw a circle on the lid and use a utility knife to cut an opening so Kitty can jump in and out. Smooth out the rough edges by padding with duct tape so your cutie doesn’t get hurt. Line the bin with a 20-gallon trash bag and pour a few inches of litter inside. Problem solved!
