Super-cute camera hog

Diessen, Netherlands—Say cheese! This tiny burrowing owl was anything but shy when she spotted a photographer in the area. The owls are usually found in underground burrows, but this youngster happened to be hopping around aboveground on this particular morning. The photographer noticed the tiny bird seemed particularly interested in what he was doing and kept looking at the camera lens with plenty of curiosity. So when it came time to snap a picture, the owl was more than happy to strike a pose.
