Testing the waters

London—This mother swan and her sweet cygnet were seen cruising Three Kings Pond after a successful water lesson. The protective mama bird had spent the day helping her tot navigate the calm waters, teaching him the proper way to paddle, dive and catch any tasty critters in the water. By the end of the lesson, the baby swan was not only able to keep up with his mom as they traveled across the pond, he even showed off by doing a few laps around her! Mother Swan must have been proud.
