Snacking on cheese alongside a glass of wine helps keep you sharp, say Iowa State University researcher­s. They found that folks who ate any amount of cheese and had a glass of red wine daily over 10 years scored 27% better on problem-solving tests than those who ate wine and cheese less often. Thanks goes to the calcium and vitamin B-12 in cheese and resveratro­l in wine, all of which improve blood flow to the brain to prevent the cell damage that causes brain fog and memory decline.
