Key to effortless slimming
Good news for folks who want to try intermittent fasting (eating within a specified time range during the day): You can extend your “eating window” and still lose weight. Researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago split volunteers into two groups: One ate between 1 pm and 5 pm and the other between 1 pm and 7 pm. During those times, volunteers ate whatever they wanted. At the end of 10 weeks, both groups consumed 550 fewer calories each day and lost about 3% of their total body weight.
