Mixed Berry Smoothie Bowls

1⁄2 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 Tbs. chia seeds
1 cup frozen mixed berries, thawed, not drained 3⁄4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
Assorted fresh berries, sunflower seeds
and basil leaves (optional)
In bowl, combine 1⁄4 cup almond milk and chia seeds; let stand until milk is absorbed, about 15 min. In blender, combine mixed berries, Greek yogurt, chia seed mixture and remaining 1⁄4 cup almond milk. Cover blender and puree until smooth. Divide mixture evenly between 2 bowls; cover. Chill until ready to serve. If desired, top with fresh berries, sunflower seeds and basil leaves.
