Banish weeds for pennies

If pesky weeds pop up in the cracks in your walkway, try this: Pour 4 oz. of lemon juice into a 1-qt. spray bottle and fill the rest with white vinegar. Spray the mix directly on weeds. The citric acid in the lemon juice and the acetic acid in the vinegar will eat away at the stems and dry out weed roots.
