Make your home a no-flea zone

Argh! Here comes flea season, and though you’ve used a treatment to safeguard your pal, you also know the pesky buggers can find their way inside through window screens and open doors. Keep them at bay with a chemical-free flea spray: In a spray bottle, add 2 cups of vinegar, 1 cup of water and 1⁄4 cup each of lemon juice and witch hazel. Shake to mix and spray on windowsills or just inside screen doors. The scents in this allnatural mix are known to repel pests to keep your home safely flea-free.
