Cure rainy-day doggy boredom—for free!

When spring showers cause Buster to go stircrazy indoors, entertain him with a doggy puzzle. To do: Cut a hole the size of a quarter in one side of a plastic container like an empty peanut butter jar. (Use a nail file to make sure there are no sharp edges around the hole.) Pop in a few balls or other small toys and a few dog treats, close the jar and give it to your pup. The smell of the treats will entice him to play with the jar, but he’ll have to figure out how to get them out around the toys. That’ll keep him busy!
