Perk up a picnic table

He suggests planting white impatiens in a basket for an easy-made picnic table centerpiece, then hanging the basket later for an eye-catching, elevated new look. To make, simply add a few drainage holes to the bottom of a basket, fill with soil, then remove 4 impatiens plants from their nursery pots and nestle roots into soil. Place in a partly shady spot and water regularly.
