New research from the U.K.’s University of Exeter reveals an easy way to curb her instinct: making sure the main source of protein in her diet derives from meat rather than plant by-products. In the study, meat-rich food reduced the number of prey cats brought home by 36%. Simply check food labels to find ones that list meat as a top ingredient.
