Where: Why:

ESTABLISHED IN 2011, THIS MARKET IS HELD TWICE A YEAR INDOORS AND TWICE A YEAR OUTDOORS. “We’ll have 250 to 300 vendors,” says founder and producer Devon Chouinard. She’s a fourth-generation junker. “Growing up, I was brought to every flea market up and down the Eastern seaboard.” This event has plenty of free onsite

June 30 to July 1, and October 7 and 8. parking, or there’s also onsite camping, she says, “so bring your tent, camper or vintage trailer!” The June event will have a theme of vintage carnival, with an old-fashioned carousel, nostalgic games and face painting. When you get hungry, sample cuisine from one of the nearly 40 food trucks. Browse flea-market finds from vendors who come from 18 states, as far away as Texas, Florida and California, to sell here. “It’s very eclectic,” says Devon. “We have salvaged, farm-fresh picks, ready for up-purposing and DIY; and then vendors who have already upcycled, so [their items are] ready to go. There’s shabby chic and French style, and also artisans who craft things, such as leather goods made out of vintage belts. Plus, it’s still tied to New England, so we have real antiques, too, like the classic Windsor chairs.”
