DIY Ribbon Tree
THE HOMEOWNERS LOVE TO LEAVE RIBBON OUT AFTER THEY’VE WRAPPED THEIR PRESENTS, ADDING COLOR AND TEXTURE TO THE HOME IN A SIMPLE MANNER. IF YOU’RE A FAN OF DECORATING WITH RIBBON, TAKE YOUR HOLIDAY DECORATING TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH THIS EASY AND FUN DIY RIBBON TREE CRAFT. WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• Papier-mâché or cardboard cones • A few spools of ribbon
• Hot glue and glue gun
• Hole punch
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Use the hole punch to create a hole through two sides of the cone. Thread a ribbon through the hole and tie the ends together. Make sure to do this step first.
2. Cut 3-inch pieces of ribbon. (Use thicker ribbon for wider cones and thinner ribbon for smaller ones.)
3. Use the glue gun to attach the ribbon to the cone. Start at the bottom of the cone, glue one side (facedown) to the cone, fold it up, and glue the other side to create a loop.
