Go Green

GREENERY IS ABUNDANT IN ANDREA’S HOME AND WELCOMES SPRING INTO HER ABODE. HERE’S HOW TO USE GREENERY TO DECORATE YOUR HOME FOR THE FAIRER MONTHS.

1.

SWEET SUCCULENTS. Succulents are easy to care for and perfect for shelving and other little spaces. “I fill vintage teacups or small vintage wood boxes with succulents for a fresh vintage look,” Andrea says.

2.

PRETTY POTHOS. Pothos are easy to care for throughout the year and do well in almost any room. They are one of Andrea’s favorite greenery options. 3. SO FAUX. “I use faux garland everywhere. I suggest hanging it from mirrors, chandeliers and windows for a unique look.” Andrea says.

4.

TOUCH TEST. Adding greens around your home brings a pop of color, texture and softness, especially to wood or metal pieces. “Look for greens that look and feel authentic,” Andrea suggests. “It if feels real, then it will most likely look real too.”

5.

BACKYARD BEAUTIES. Look for clippings right in your backyard that you can cut and place in vintage bottles, dishes and wooden crates. “I find Peony stems make great fillers,” Andrea says.
