Mitchell Info

My uncle, Maj. Gen. Lawrence F. Tanberg, was a pilot in the 8th Air Force in WW II. I remember him stating that he mainly flew the B-25 Mitchell. The name of his plane was “Sunsetter” or “Sun Setter.” This aircraft was lost by another crew and then he had another B-25 and named it “Sunsetter II,” if I remember correctly. Can you provide me with any military information, reference about this plane, or possible photos, or tell me how I can pursue my hunt for more information? Thanks for your assistance.
