C. AN SDF WITH DME, BUT IT’S NOT RE­QUIRED

The MOR lo­cal­izer in­cludes a DME that can be used as a missedap­proach point (1.2 DME). Pi­lots can also use time to the MAP pro­vided they can iden­tify the JXT NDB. While the MAP can be iden­ti­fied with DME, there’s no way to use DME to iden­tify the fi­nal ap­proach fix. The 5.9 nm shown in the plan view does not mean the DME will in­di­cate it at the FAF.
