The National Aviation Hall of Fame welcomed its four newest inductees.
The National Aviation Hall of Fame welcomed its four newest inductees at a gala dinner inside the impressive National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., on September 28. Current enshrinees (left to right) Charlie Bolden, Eileen Collins, Bob Crippen, Joe Kittinger, Charles McGee, Dale Klapmeier, Hoot Gibson, Joe Engle, Michael Collins and Bill Anders joined on stage to celebrate the Class of 2018. The honorees included Col. R. Walter “Walt” Cunningham, the late William H. “Bill” Dana, Gen. John R. “Jack” Dailey and Gen. Ronald R. Fogleman. Next year’s National Aviation Hall of Fame gala induction dinner will be held in Denver at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum on September 28.
