PHILANTHROPY SCORE:

The CEO of L Brands, which owns Victoria’s Secret, made headlines when former friend and personal money manager Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on charges of sex trafficking minors in July. Epstein, who died by apparent suicide in prison in August, allegedly lured girls by pretending to be a recruiter of Victoria’s Secret models. Epstein’s six-story Manhattan townhouse, worth $56 million, was previously owned by Wexner. L Brands maintains Epstein was never an employee; it says it has hired an outside law firm to review the company’s ties with him. Wexner admitted that he is “embarrassed” by his relationship with Epstein. Even before the scandal, Victoria’s Secret had been losing customers.
