He then acquired several boutique-hotel management companies, and in late 2018 sold his Two Roads Hospitality hotel operation for $408 million to Hyatt, where his brother Tom Pritzker (No. 187) is chairman. In March the John Pritzker Family Fund said it was donating $25 million to build a waterfront park in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood. His first job: busboy, at age 13.
