ERNEST GARCIA III

The Stanford-educated engineer started out as an investment analyst before joining his father’s used car dealership business, DriveTime, in 2007. Five years later, Garcia cofounded Carvana, an e-commerce platform for buying and selling used cars, as a subsidiary of DriveTime. It was spun out in a 2017 IPO, and its stock has been in the fast lane lately. His father, Ernest Garcia II (No. 114), is also a billionaire thanks to Carvana.
