Environmental treatment:
Human resources software provider Workday has reached a net-zero carbon emissions rate at its offices and data centers, but its environmental efforts extend beyond its own walls.
Its 2,800 corporate customers include 40% of the 500 largest companies in America that have their own climate impact goals. “We are helping our customers meet their sustainability commitments,” says Erik Hansen, Workday’s sustainability director, “by providing them with a carbon-neutral cloud.”
