Foroughi (pictured), Krystynak and Karam founded AppLovin a decade ago to help market other folks’ apps. In 2018, the company launched its own game publisher, Lion Studios, and has since acquired or invested in at least 16 different mobile game studios. Foroughi is CEO, Krystynak is former chief technology officer and Karam is vice president of product at the now publicly traded company, which has made nearly 200 games, including Wordscapes, Pull Him Out and Project Makeover. The company earned $35 million in net income on revenue of $2.8 billion in 2021.
